Here I am quilting "Plaid Play". I did spirals in each of the center squares. After 100 of them, I feel confident in my freehand spirals. I'm still quilting doodles.

Look at what I found last night. It had latched on to my arm. Picture is magnified to much larger than life. Including the legs, it was about the size of a sesame seed. Yes, it's a deer tick. There was a little redness around the bite area, so after cleaning with alcohol, I drew a circle with a ball point pen 1/8" from the edges of the redness so that I could tell if it changed size. Antibiotic & bandaid all night-this morning the redness is gone.

Before I start some of these on Ebay, I will offer them to friends for $15.00 each. All but the last 2 have velcro closures with a button for decoration. The last 2 have magnetic snap closure. They all have webbing handles (which are tucked inside) & 1 inside pocket. Let me know if you want one or a closeup on any or all.

I found a good use for some of my upholstery samples. I'm in the process of making about 1.5 dozen pocketbooks. I plan to sell them-probably for $15.00. They measure about 9" X 15". I am dithering about whether to use a button & buttonhole on the tab, or velcro with a button for decoration. It's too late to just use velcro on these.-I would need the button to hide the velcro stitching. Opinions please.

I decided to try to make hot wings like KFC. This is my variation:
I'm going to get a new great niece/nephew in a couple of months. I made a variation of the snails trails block for the front of his/her baby quilt. I know that the quilt police say that solid fabrics make boring quilts, but to that, I say "pbbbbbbbbt" The stripe fabric has so much going on that it DEMANDS solids. The solid colors are chintz "mill rags". Of course I used my Innova long arm to quilt it. Start to finish-10 days which included 3 days when I was too sick to sew. (A bug that's been going around-I'm over it now.) Batted with Thinsulate, of course.
